HMM to launch West Africa Service

HMM enters West Africa Trade
Dear Valued Customers,
HMM will be entering West Africa trade with the launch of new service to provide you with a viable alternative way to ship your cargoes.
HMM will provide West Africa trade coverage connecting Far-East Asia, North Europe, and the Mediterranean region via Algeciras and Tangier Med transportation.
The new service is called Mediterranean West Africa Service (MA2) and will commence from Algeciras on 7th July 2026 accomplishing round trip in 35 days.
Port rotation is as follows: Algeciras – Tangier Med – Dakar – Tema – Lekki – Abidjan – Algeciras.
1st leg connecting vessels from Rotterdam and Hamburg: FE1 - ONE HONG KONG - JHKR0088E (NLRTM ETB 11th June, DEHAM ETB 16th June) – connecting MA2 at Algeciras
1st leg connecting vessels from Italy and Greece: FIM - HMM LIME - HOLI0001E (ITGOA ETB 8th June, GRPIR ETB 13th June) – connecting MA2 at Algeciras
1st leg connecting vessels from Türkiye, Egypt, Spain and Portugal: To be advised by local HMM contact
With the introduction of MA2 service, HMM anticipates providing our customers with more efficient and reliable sea transportation.
